No. 12, Short’s Gardens
Forming an integral part of the grade II listed, early-to-mid-19th century, former brewery complex at nos. 8 to 26 (even), no.12, Short's Gardens is a four-storey London Stock brick building, now converted into flats.
It comprises three bays with segmentally arched openings at ground floor level with three storeys of 6-over-6 subdivided sash windows set within flat arched openings above, and a further mansard storey above. A triangular painted steel structure with balconies at first, second and third floor levels projects from the face of the building at high level.
A building of special architectural and historic interest and particular townscape value contributing to the character, appearance and significance of the Seven Dials Conservation Area.
