Nos. 43-47, Shelton Street, with return-elevation to Endell Street

Built by the former Greater London Council, this is an attractive part-three, part-four storey, 1970s London Stock brick-faced block comprising housing on the upper floors above retail uses at ground floor level. It forms part of the overall development also comprising nos. 15-25 (odd), Endell Street.

Modern and reticent shopfronts with retractable blinds are set within four openings at ground floor level between brick piers below the upper elevation with segmentally-arched and soldier-course window openings.

A development of particular architectural interest and townscape value contributing positively to the character, appearance and significance of the Seven Dials Conservation Area.
