No. 58, Neal Street
The street-frontage of No.58 comprises a four-storey, post-War rebuilding in textured, red brick with soldier-courses (rather than gauged brick arches) over the window openings at first, second and third floor levels. The windows comprise 2-over-2 subdivided sashes.
The modern shopfront comprises a well-proportioned, off-white painted framework of fascia and pilasters, set beneath a modestly projecting, painted stone ‘cornice, containing a simple, simply detailed glazing. The fascia carries neat, applied lettering.
A building of modest architectural interest and townscape value, contributing modestly to the character, appearance and significance of the Seven Dials Conservation Area.
