Appraisal

Nos. 2-6, Shelton Street, Wellington Court

A reticent late-1950s, five-storey building (entrance to Wellington Court at no. 6, Shelton Street), comprising twelve flats above a large restaurant at ground floor level, recently refurbished as part of the Slingsby Place/St Martin's Courtyard development immediately adjacent.

The upper part of the street elevation is faced in London Stock brick with reconstituted stone dressings and coloured glass panels, above five bays of neat, modern shopfronts separated with stainless-steel faced piers.
