No. 61, Neal Street
A grade II listed, three-storey, late 18th-century property occupying the original plot. The upper elevation is faced in stucco with classically detailed moulded architraves to the window openings. The two sash windows at each floor level have lost their glazing-bar subdivision. The modern shopfront is disfigured by an excessively deep applied fascia.
A building of special architectural interest and of townscape value, contributing positively to the character, appearance and significance of the Seven Dials Conservation Area.
The frontage would benefit from the restoration of a correctly proportioned and detailed shopfront with a sign-written fascia.
