This section of the street is taken up by the side-elevation of the grade II listed Cambridge Theatre, designed by Wimperis, Simpson & Guthrie and completed in 1930. The austere, four-storey, classically-detailed north-western section of the elevation is faced in ashlar Portland Stone, the single bay nearest the splay corner, set back modestly from the remaining five bays.
